Meet the Executive Staff

Julie

Julie Pagano (Studio Owner, Head Instructor): A Connecticut native, Julie owns and operates the Emerald Ballroom Dance Education Center and JP Ballroom LLC out of her studio in Vernon, CT. Certified with the North American Dance Teachers Association and a member of the National Dance Council of America, she teaches both the American and International styles of ballroom and latin dances. Julie currently competes with her students on the Pro-Am floor throughout the United States and Canada.

Julie is committed to providing her students, her staff, as well as herself with cutting edge dancing technology. As a result, she brings in world champions, judges, and coaches to her studio on a monthly basis. Julie is well known for her unusual style of teaching which is often described as very technical, in a fun, humorous way. Her vast knowledge of sports, cars, and engineering along with her whit and charm makes her lessons as entertaining as they are educational. Her goal is to share her passion for dance with everyone willing to learn. She also reintroduces the social graces and enchantment of dance in her weekly dance parties and other social events.

In those rare occasions Julie has spare time, she enjoys watching NASCAR, and spending time with family and friends. She is also very fond of watching movies and finds fun where ever she goes.
